Knowing About Yourself..

Meeting someone and getting to know him has always been exciting for me. You get to learn so many different things from that person. But what excites me even more these days is getting to know about myself from others or just by observing. Since a long time I have this thought in my mind, if sometime in life I met myself, would I be my friend? The question is still unanswered but deep down inside I think if that ever happens we two would end up to be best friends for sure.

I have often heard people say “I really know myself”, but in my case I am the biggest mystery for myself. Understanding other people has been comparatively easier for me than understanding myself. Recently someone told me that they can totally understand me and already know how I would react in some situation. I wasn’t able to believe that because I know myself for 18 years now and still cannot say that. It’s really tough for me because in similar situations I have somehow managed to be different. I really am trying to express this in words but then still I am not even close to it.
